95% of peoples problems stem from there performance upgrades failing to achieve the advertised figures, ie the high pressure turbo set up is advertised as a 300bhp yet people who have had it done rarely exceed 280bhp.
I do my own servicing, I have the official renault tools and find it a relatively straight forward and simple process. However if I didn't do it myself I'd be off to see either Fred@BTM or Danny@519automotive as there easily some of the most experienced people when it comes to this and there not as greedy as some so called specialists are.

Belts are due now on time (only done 5k miles since last change) so I'm looking for somewhere in the North West to get them done
Birchdown is a pretty long round trip but is the sensible option of taking it there the only option? I have a local garage which are really good generally but they are not specialists
Also read about Northwest Performance (not as far to travel) but there have been some horror stories about them
Any other options?

Thanks for the replies guys. I spoke to Andy at Birchdown earlier so will look to get it in asap. Diamond Motors would be a 4 hour round trip I think so a bit of a stretch
I'll probably drop it off and find a local golf course. Hopefully it will done in the time it takes to play 18 holes
