After all the recent snow, my Trophy was looking desperate for a thorough clean.

I decided to give it a machine polish yesterday to get it back upto standard.

No befores as it was just too cold....that cold that i half way through i tempted on leaving it.

The thread will only allow four pictures so here are the best few.

Little bit of extra saturation dialed in there methinks ;) Looking good though. What products have you got on it?

Thanks for the comments.

Jon.G I'm in Audenshaw not too far from sale.

Hoolio - what do you mean by a little extra saturation?! If you mean camera
enhancements, I can assure you it's just taken on my iPhone, no effects at all.

I machined it with 3M extrafine (yellow top) and a polishing pad. Followed by
3M Ultrafina (blue top) and a 3M finishing pad.
Then I applied meguiars show car glaze which is the best product I have
ever used!! I recommend it to anyone. I then put a single coat of
autoglym HD wax and then sprayed clearkote quick shine over it.

It just looks a slightly unreal red but its probably something to do with the auto white balance under those lights but like I said looks good. What did you use on the trim?

It is a very deep red as due to my car cleaning OCD :) and line of work which allows me a great deal of time off the car
gets washed every four days. It gets clayed and polished up with various products every two months and a full machine
when I feel the need to do it. Sad I know haha

I used some trim stuff my friend got me. It's not in the correct bottle but if I remember correctly its Autosmart trim wizard.

That looks stunning.

Mine is in very very bad need of some TLC. Mine is going away to be done at a cost of £800 so i know that when it comes back its going to be sexual. At the moment i cant see out my back window and my reg plate at the rear is just dirt

I'd recommend not putting a Gloss enhancer like clearkote ontop of a fresh wax.

No point as its really a top-up product, isn't it?

I wash my car every two days and try to power wash it nightly :)

I use Chemical Guys new look trim gel - highly recommended.

For exterior trim restorer Gtechniq C4 > All.

New look trim gel is good on the inside on all the plastics and leather.

It isn't needed no, but clearkote quick shine really really repels dust. I find it adds the final gloss look that I'm after.

EDIT: not used any of the Gtechniq stuff as its a bit dear. However I know it's all extremely highly recommended!

I use rainX on the windows but at some point I want to try the Gtechniq for the windows.
