Bedford - pay to watch?

According to MSV you can't just turn up and watch at Bedford, seems you need to pay £10 to register as a passenger - even if you aren't a passenger.

At Brands and Snetterton, you can just turn up and watch.

Any thoughts?

seems strange that - i've heard of spectators having to pay for track days before....

Hmm, is it because they don't really have a proper spectator area/stands?
Cadwell, being another MSV run trackday destination, allows people view the days activities AFAIK.
