Does anyone know of a good video camera and a device to mount it in a car, sort of Top Gear style.

I'm thinking of making my own road trip but video taping the journey from the passenger side. Has anyone done this before, if so can you give me some help and pointers???

There was an article in last months Track and Race Car Mag all about different camera's for race and track day use.

When I get home I will post the links to the manufacturers listed.

I've been thinking about getting one also.

Not sure about what camera would be best, but the mount I use is made by http://www.stickypod.com/

It is relatively cheap and easy to use, and I have no complaints about it at all. Never tried attaching it to the exterior of the car though, not enough faith!

If I was in the market for a camera mount today, I'd probably go for the first one in the link that db has posted, as it looks less bulky than the one that I have.
