Anyone driven Curborough?

Okay so I'm spending a day at Curborough Sprint Track. Just going for a bit of gentle fun with some guys from work. There shall be some nice cars there, Westfields, Caterhams and a formula 3 hillclimb car!

Taking the Trophy obviously any one got any advice?

I don't intend on going mad, I wasn't ever going to take it on the track but the tickets were £38 for the day so I couldn't say no!

It's a tiny track, a small flat oval with a chicane style kink on one side that's it. Maybe just get into 3rd gear? Haven't driven it myself, but have been up there.

All the corners are relatively tight - one side is a series of left right flicks, with a long 180 onto the retiun straight - ideally you should do at least two laps at a time, it was understeery in Evo5! They do have good school days.

Should of forked out for a proper day, would of been far more use!

As said you will be lucky to get out of 3rd, more of a time trial circuit than a trackday :lol:

Watch out for the 'mound' :wink:
