    182 Service history gap

What do we make of something like a 27k mile gap and a 20k mile gap between services? I'd like to think it'll have a negligible effect in real terms given the engines are meant to be strong. I bought a 330Ci before that had over 30k miles between a service and it always ran sweetly at over 100k...

NEW Trophy owner needs some advice

Hello just got number 14. Very pleased with the car and the way it goes. It's my 1st decent fast 'new car' having always had classics. I'm 42 so not a real racer type. I think it will fit in well with some of the oldies own. Only poor areas for road driving in my opinion are: a bit of movement...

Hi all got a set if Catcams 428 cam shafts including perfect Dephaser and exhaust sprocket. Hi, the seatbelts on my trophy are very grubby. More a brown colour than silver and don't look very nice. Is there anything recommended for cleaning these? I was going try something like cilit bang? Thanks.

Anyone using AST suspension on their Trophies ??

Hi guys , I had thought that I would go for the Nitron Damper setup that K-Tec are developing for the Trophy but have read great things about AST. And I just wondered if anyone on here has them fitted and what they think ? Cheers Neil

    Trophy's & insurance!

Guy, Most T's have aftermarket filters, exhaust systems, braided lines & a few other bits as we all know. Now as standard im getting quotes of £600 which is fine, but declaring an air filter mod alone comes out at £900!!! Wtf!? I cannot find a standard T. What to do?

    Seats and wheel

Drove my friends quite now heavily modified 172 which has buckets and sabelt wheel and harnesses - makes me think I want to do the same as I hate the driving position of the trophy. I was thinking of some mildly aggressive seats like the sabelt titans which are in the r26r. What's other people done

    Whats it worth?

Currently umming & ahhing about buying an e46 M3 in the next 6 months, so may sell the Trophy at some point ... i have absolutely no idea whats its worth though due to the laughable mileage. Fitted a cage ...

After trying to buy one for years!! I finally managed to get my grubby mitts on an MSV cage, so I trundled off to Oxford services on Saturday morning, & came back with a shiny new toy. Reason for getting a bolt-in as opposed weld? Well, I wasn’t happy about having buckets, harnesses and no...

    I finally cleaned the Trophy.

Essentially, on Saturday, somebody parked their rather clean looking Trophy in our car park next to mine, the gf noticed & said, 'that red clio's really nice'. After then explaining to her that it was a Trophy, just like mine, & that under all the dirt, they were both exactly the same colour ...

    OMP Buckets - swap?

I have two OMP bucket seats in my Trophy at the moment, but am considering going back to the standard recaros because I currently use my car mainly on the road. Would anyone be interested in swapping their recaros for my buckets? They are in very good condition and come with seat subframe...

    Trophy Seats

I have a swiss trophy and the previous owner removed the standard recaros to fit bucket seats. I am now considering taking the buckets out and fitting the recaro seats again (the buckets won't pass the ultra stringent Swiss version of an MOT which is due soon). However, the Swiss edition came...

    Anyone changed their rear seats?

I hate the cup rear bench and want something a bit nicer looking. I presume the 172 & 182 leather seats will fit straight in? Guess that as with most cars, the split/fold system has a bit that bolts to the car where the seats split, is there provision for all of this? Which seats match the...

    Nearly, but not quite unfaithfull

I was very excited to read about the new Japanese Civic type R. Apart from a boring 4 door saloon body, the prospect of 225 PS, 8,400 rev limit, reasonable torque, Brembo 4 pot callipers, 18" lightweight rims, gear type LSD, proper independent rear suspension etc was very tempting. Still not a...
