Thought it was you, looks good, we'd been to the pictures. Currently trying to convince Mrs Corneyman that the Focus needs the Mountune package putting on it. I keep checking the site to see whats going on, looks like my old Trophy has disappeared from the forum which is a real shame.
You've done well, I'm on my fourth. Check out the Xbox website, they extended the warranty, you never know. I sent my last one off and it was back within ten days. If you can't get it sorted, new ones are cheap, just get an arcade model and swap the hard drive.
I really missed the Trophy when it went and I reckon it's faster on country roads than my RS, but after a few months I can happily say that car life does exist after a Trophy. The sound of the Focus is mighty and it still makes me smile when I see it. The torque is amazing, overtaking can be...
Completely agree with your write up Johnny, it isn't as much fun and the car still feels huge after more than 5,000 miles. I reckon I could drive my Trophy faster on country lanes. On the motorway the car is very good and most of my miles are motorway ones. I think Jeremy Clarkson kinda hit the...
Johnny, I'm getting just short of 28mpg from mine but that's mostly motorway miles. Agreed about the blacked out windows. They make reversing in the dark a real chore. I've fitted a K & N airfilter to mine, it improves the sound.
Are they any good? I always thought there was a place called Rentech, but they're in Poole. He needs someone who knows about 172/182s to have a good look at it and get it on a rolling road.
A lad I know is running a 172 Cup and is having a few mechanical problems related to his cat and ECU. He's looking for a Renault specialist based around Leeds. I'm sure Cue has mentioned one but I can't remember the name. Can anyone help? Cheers.
Roystinho, I sold the Trophy to Redline Specialist Cars in Knaresborough, I did put it up for sale on here but didn't get much interest. It had 69,000 miles on it but it was still a tidy little car. I got the Focus from TC Harrison in Derby.
Sorry about the picture being a bit small, I'm not 100% on this technology thing. I checked out all three colours and white is the best. You do get looked at though, very different from the Trophy where only car nuts appreciated it.
I'll be sorry to see it go. I am looking forward to the RS but the Trophy will take some beating. The Trophy is a classy car, hope I'm doing the right thing.
After four years of ownership, I'll shortly be selling my Trophy. My new car arrives early September and that's when I'll be selling the Trophy, we've only got the one car. If anyone is interested here are the details. One owner, full independent Renault specialist service history. 67,000 mainly...
It looks good in green, first time I've seen a picture of the colour and thought that. Whats happening with your order Johnnytheboy? When are you getting it? There's a white one living within a quarter of a mile of my house and that looks ace.
I wouldn't be surprised if you've been in Mark Elgars showroom. I think he works for a Renault dealer, it was in Southampton but I think he moved jobs. He tends to specialise in Renaultsports and was advertising some R26Rs on Renaultsports forum. He knows his stuff. What colours did he have in...
