i spotted the dx 55 you've probably noticed mine around stoke too as i work in longton used to have CA05 YCC plate on it but now has frency plates and A13EX F on it.
the lad in CX55 doesnt wave back the miserable git!
i think they just bank on people not bothering to shop around and just accept what they send you in the post.
i shopped around on my mini and got the quote doown from £1200 to £680 lol
the clio's a bit more than a cooper s £720 think it might have something to do with the cost of...
after washing the whole car i use a squeege (i'm a signwriter so it's a tool of the trade)
but anything a little thicker than a credit card does the job wrapped with a cloth and push it inot the gaps of all the panels.
on another note zymol doesnt leave a white residue around panel gaps...
lol looks similar to a lot of peoples on here.
not got it permaguarded no but i use zymol titanium on it. Really good polish, i'd of bought the one designed for red cars but this pot was from when i had my mini it's lasting ages!
i have got driving shoes infact most of my sheos are puma driving shoes.
just asked an mot bloke from work and he said the wording on the mot check says braker pedal rubber is not excessivly worn.
but ours dont have a rubour ... hmmm
nerly crashed the trophy the other day because my foot slipped off the clutch.
which made me think are the pedals on our cars legal?
i always thought the clutch and brake pedals should have some sort of rubber grips in them to prevent this??
anyone got any ideas?
any info on prices for a set of these springs from mark?
also has anyone considered lowering caps as usesd by the vw boys?
you could effectivly lower the whole car without changing springs or shocks.
lol sorry for bringing up an old thread i'm a noob looking to see if it's possible / sensible to lower the trophy.
i dont think the front needs dropping any more than 10mm but the back could do with at least 20mm taking off it.
i wonder if eibach would consider making a lower spring for the trophy if they had enough people interested in a set, they wouldnt need to do any r&d as they made the springs currently fitted to the car?
