I got mine at 18,000 and it's now on 30,000, and it's loosened up noticeably in that time. As others have said, given the fact it's only done around 10k miles I wouldn't be too worried :)

Has anyone ever modded the passenger window electrics to have auto wind like the driver-side? Presumably it's just a case of ordering the box of tricks that does it for the driver-side (as long as it's not part of some larger system), finding somewhere to hide it and wiring it into the loom...

No no, I didn't expect them to be... it's just the fact the Permaguard price depends on the condition of the paintwork made me wonder exactly what they do! So in other words damage to the surface of the paint is hidden by the treatment because the polymer fills it in, but if it's gone through...

Excuse my ignorance but does this mean to say that the initial Permaguard treatment will also include repairing the paintwork until it's "as new", prior to applying it? i.e. if I go to a Permaguard supplier and give them however much they charge to do so, they'll fix my bumper/bonnet paint...

Update! Gave the car to Tony (Service Manager at Jaybee) last night and he took the fault description "loud knocking sound from front right in straight line and loud creaking noise when steering, at speeds up to approx 30mph" and told him I thought it was the bottom ball joint... his mechanics...

Hmm, I've been thinking about upgrading my brakes for the last few weeks since a mate with a 182 told me about the difference he'd made changing his... and this £200-from-yozzasport setup sounds very tempting :D When I've got the knocking noise sorted I'll have to look into it 8)

It's ok, we're familiar with flashing in the non sexually perverted sense, lol :wink: I get flashed by a lot of Clio Sports in general but don't often see Trophies, there's one I've seen a few times but they're not on the forum at all :(
