I have 2 Samco water pipes to fit a clio 172 or 182 for sale. They are the same as K-Tec sell for 230pound but I only have the 2 pipes you can actually see when you open the bonnet - In my opinion its a waste of money paying for the other pipes when they are not visable at all.

Paul - I did the same thing - ripped the leather with mole grips - I know it sounds drastic but believe me a hack saw is your best option - it will cut straight through with ease - you will have to hoover the mess up but its better than having a damaged gear knob.

only problem using mole grips is you have to put a lot of pressure on the actual gear stick which is not good for the linkage below - best bet is hack saw it off then you have no chance of snapping anything yuou shouldnt
nope - no easy way - its a nightmare - I tried everything I could think of - In the end a hacksaw solved the problem although I shit myself doing it! was worth it in the end though - new gear knob is far better
