See my Pistonheads ad for telephone number.
Take your point Huf, but it really is a headache for me to put it back to standard. I no longer have the original exhaust, amber indicator bulbs or brake discs, pads and hoses! I do, however, have the original aerial which will come with the car.
I'm convinced that someone will buy it as it is...
Completely agree with you Sam, which is why I've put it up will all the sensible mods for £8,750. Want a quick sale - someone's going to get very lucky!
Having listened to you guys and done some research myself, I think that £8,750 is a fair price for mine.
If anyone is interested, let me know. I have spoken further with my new company and there isn't a car allowance so I am having to take the car... A bit unfair but gift horse, mouth an'...
That's what I thought too mate. So I am investigating it thoroughly as, in an ideal world, I'd keep the Trophy... My car allowance at my current company is £5,000 so I'd be happy if they matched that.
It's not a silly question... I could keep the car and not take a company car; however, I would feel like I am turning down something that makes up a valuable part of the package on offer. Seeing as there isn't an option to take a car allowance in cash instead of a company car, I feel that I...
Got an exciting job offer that would involve a company car which I will have to take because they don't offer a car allowance in lieu of the car. Really annoying but it would be stupid of me to turn down the company car.
Anyway, I was wondering what anybody thought about a fair price for my...
Sorry for being slow mate - don't use internet much at weekends.
I bought my Janspeed from POTN and had it fitted at Rentech in Portsmouth. They are brilliant. Just had my 36k service done there plus brembo brake disc package fitted a couple of weeks ago... They really care and charge much...
Hi Reboot
No, I didn't do a remap and you don't need one per se. The car's ecu adapts after 30 mins or so when you make mods; however, I'm sure a proper remap would make a difference. I have heard figures of +7bhp and +15lb's torque post remap plus improved tickover and fuel economy. So a...
No, but sounds an awesome combo... Nice one!
I have a Janspeed cat back and ITG panel filter. The looks and sound of the exhaust make all the difference. Mine purrs at tickover and lets rip on full chat. Great mod. I haven't changed the air induction kit though - that will make...
Ok chaps, I get the message and I do agree I must go... Don't want to let the side down. After all, the car is made for that circuit, nein?
Matt X2C - let me know the details and dates ref your trip. I'm interested. Why don't we try and get a whole load of Trophy owners together for this? I'm...
I want one of these for the back of the car. Anyone know the place to get a good quality one? Not sure I trust Ebay.
I'm sure I'll get accused of slander etc for not actually having been, but I think they look good and don't care!
Thanks.
Just thought I'd give a shout out to the guys at Rentech who carried out my 36k mile service last Saturday down in Portsmouth.
They also fitted my new Brembo front discs, braided hoses and Greenstuff pads. The car's stopping power is in a different league now with no squeaking, I am pleased...
Just been quoted £632.86 for this service by Wych Hill Renault.

No way it's worth that! Is Rentech the only option for me? I'm based in London/Surrey.
Yup, couldn't agree more. Fiddling about with these things causes power losses if anything... I noticed the ITG Panel Filter I fitted was actually detrimental, so went back to the standard filter. Renault don't muck about developing a car for nothing.
I found that my radio did all these things you guys are talking about when I changed the aerial to the CTR bee sting... When I changed it back to the standard Trophy aerial, all the problems went away... I guess it's function over form on this one!
Don't know if this one's already been pointed out but something I have noticed is:
When you start the engine, you don't need to release the key once the engine is started... What I mean is that the engine will start and the starter motor will stop automatically, even if you keep the key...
1. Wiper Stalk - you can't believe how much of a difference this makes!
2. Silver Visions - look really cool and de-tango!
3. Exhaust
Bee sting aerial looks good too. It's the Honda CTR one that we use and fits straight on in lieu of the long Trophy one.
I have removed my ITG Panel...
Sorry about my post above - looks random I know! Thought I was in a different thread about ITG panel filters...
Anyway, hope you find the fault ASAP. Keep us posted. :D
