Actually I can see what you mean, the Focus probably doesn't feel as quick as it is, the T felt quicker than it was. :lol:

Surprised it didn't feel a lot faster than a T, as it's meant to be on a par with my new car (Focus RS) which definitely feels quicker. Test drives can be very deceptive though, and maybe the fact this is a smaller engine than the RS means it has less of an immediate power delivery.

My pads were replaced at 11k and discs and pads at 24k. The discs had started to corrode rather than wear thin as the OEM ones are made of swiss cheese. I wouldn't say that was unusually quick in this case, I wasn't hammering mine.

Hello Brenda! I'm intrigued: are there many 172/182s in Argentina? Is that a standard Renault Splitter (the black bit) that you want? I wonder if K-Tec will ship a Carbon splitter to South America? They are actually cheaper (in the UK) than the standard Renault one.
