I'm sure there will be remaps to take the power up to the 220-240. The reason they keep it around 200 and not 240 is so they don't put it in the same market as the Megane 265.

I had a standard R26 and I don't notice alot of difference between that and my Trophy. Will probably be a different story seen as you meg is mapped!

Seems expensive for the miles done and doesn't say about the cambelt and dampers being done. I waited until a nice one came up on here instead of buying from the trade. Good luck with the search.

Price and location?

The R26 is a lovely car. Good performance and looked good in white. The power was almost too easy. Wouldn't say it was as fun as the 182 or 200 I've had in the past. Sounds as though I'd be better off going for a RB or LY 182 from what I've heard.

I've got a Megane R26 that is going tomorrow. I've had a 182 before and was a great car.Get the feeling the Trophy will keep it's value though going forward even with the initial extra upfront.

So day to day you don't think I'll notice the difference on a twisty road?

I'd be interested to know costs of H&R's and how long they last in comparison? As we know from no new Sachs coming through and refurbs not working etc, we may have to change for something else. Seems sad though as the Sachs are the main point of a Trophy!
