Interesting reading the feedback on mods vs standard - I can't see a bad modification on it though if I'm honest that would put people off... it's still Red, has Recaro's and Turini's present along with Sach's dampers - in a nutshell the main items that are differentiating this from a normal...
If I was you, I would be putting all of the text from post 1 in this thread as the advert text on Pistonheads - lovely car, nice low mileage but you really need to sell the spec and benefits of the car more than your current advert does.
GLWS! :D
check the heatshield - might need a bit of adjustment or even a couple of extra screws putting in it to stop some of the vibration... that combined with a stealth shelf meant that mine didn't make any more noise!
great exhaust - I miss mine!
sweet, good effort... it's a very Capsicum interior you've got there! steering wheel badge needs some
one of the best interior mod's you can do is fit a 197 wheel =D>
hmmm, when you have an idea on value (or most importantly what you'd want for it), drop me a line... we're in the process of moving house so the LY is almost definitely going, strangely tempted by a 3rd Trophy and some cash in the bank 8)
I've got a Prospeed fitted, with the cat mod done by Charlie too... quality exhaust and less boomy than a lot of the other stuff out there, bloody massive trek to Cardiff to get it done mind you but i'd highly recommend one over an off the shelf jobbie... bit cheaper than a BTB too :D
Anthracite Speedline 2118's in ET43, fitted with 195/50/15 Michelin Exalto tyres.
Bought at the tail end of last year and haven't as yet covered 1,000 miles.
Selling owing to an impending (larger than planned!) house purchase which is seeing me standardise the car and sell off the mods :(...
Rear seats, irrespective of what you might have paid for them don't go for more than £100 - there's a set here for a fraction of your price - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthre ... rear-seats which'll probably be why you've had little interest.
Exhaust meanwhile is a good deal and...
i ran a Trophy for about 15k and an R27 for 10k... to me the R27 was the car that handled better, felt more planted and never felt like it was unsettled... sure it wasn't as raw as a Trophy (or any 182 for that matter) but it had great presence and was much easier to drive hard. Some complain of...
a chap on cliov6 forums went direct to them in France and collected one for his Vee from their factory... not sure if they're still readily available or being made to order though.
Stolen from his thread on there :
Email either Fabien Simonini or Vivienne at:

it's loud... someone bought some coily's from me and i heard him enter my road - i live 20 houses into the road and it was definitely loud!
i've got a prospeed, highly recommended. means a daytrip to Cardiff to get it fitted but it's worth it!
More than welcome to take a look at it and see...
Marc,
I have a mate who is selling an Orbi - based in Leighton Buzzard with me.
Happy to put you in touch - he needs a standard exhaust in p/ex though.
Good to see that you got the LY :D
i think it's changed ownership once since it was written off then... i believe i was the 3rd owner (Matty being the 2nd owner iirc) and Cit-Ren being the 4th... could be wrong though and i was in fact the 2nd owner. it's a long time ago now lol
lol.. still going round, getting cheaper though, seem to remember them wanting about £8k for it the last time they tried selling many moons ago.
how many previous owners on the HPi Steve? Just trying to figure if it's been sold since Cit-Ren
i remember the wait you had for the R26R and you buying from the same place i bought my R27.... i'm back in my 5th Renaultsport and my 8th Clio!
Speak to Tom on Cliosport for the mats (username Wests Renault) if its the latest style ones you're after
