I went to BTB this morning and finally got round to fitting their unique and perfect solution for blowing to the cat/pipe
If you have a BTB exhaust its a no brainer. Get it done
Had mine for 5+ years now. Never planning to sell it. I can safely say, in 10 years time it will still be in my garage even if I never use it again. Its like a trophy on the fireplace to me
BTB are very very very very quiet if you compare it to say a yozza
I don't think it will be that much louder and even if it is, that cat mod is 10/10. What should have been there from standard!!!
Wow! Glad you are ok. Hope you have learned your lesson! (no offence intended)
Yes the PH lot are a bit up themselves . God forbid you make a spelling mistake or incorrect grammar or use "1" instead of "one" in a post. Its the same as committing a murder in most of their eyes!
Very nice! Wheels look really good on the car! Im guessing thats a BTB exhaust. Have you seen this? http://www.clio182btbexhausts.co.uk/
Im getting my cat modified soon, the last picture shows it. Around £100
I wouldn't get another clio, especialy the new ones. Too much money for what they are and when you compare them to a megane, there is no competition and i doubt the running costs of a megane is that much higher. I do like the looks of 197's thou!
I paid £600 at BG. That was 2x refurb and removal/fitting. I had driven too much on my leaking one which in turn did a little extra damage to the inside of it, but he said that it wasn't the worst he had seen! Dropped the car off at 8am and got it back the next day at lunch time.
When sending them off to rebuilt, when they send them back, what else needs to be changed? I want to keep the car standard and dont want to purchase stuff that i dont need.
Booked in for the 23rd Sept!
Ive had mine for longer than i can remember now, got it when it first came out, never had a problem with it and im still in love with it :D and yes it is very quiet unless you have 4 people in the car then the back 2 will moan
Its hard to describe, i put the axel stands near the front axels on the 2 triangle shapes part of the car before all the metal of the axel starts
Had an mot a week ago, and have been told the news that my front left shock has supposedly sprung a leak. Will they need a full rebuild?.....Can someone just sum up quickly for me the rough cost, who to go to and if i need a full rebuild or something smaller? Im guessing i might aswell do the...
Im sure and hope that as long as the warranty claim/work has nothing to do with a mod like broken cat on the exhaust, then it should still be ok for the rest of the car
Mine is exactly the same!! Happened after i pushed it real hard at snetterton on the weekend. It was creeking really loud, but now is a softer creaking.
Im interested to know whats making the noise?
