Yeah the mileage thing is a funny one for us Brits, we're obsessed by it. I always buy on condition and service history. Plus if it's been driven regularly then chances are it's a good runner and less likely to break down (as long as the servicing is there to back it up). I bought mine on ~70k...
Hi
Mine is for sale at the minute http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/renault/renaultsport-clio/renault-clio-x65-renaultsport-182-trophy-16v-------2006/5721159?v=c
No rush, like I say just fancy a change. Worst case scenario I keep it and have one of the best (if not the best) hot hatches ever made - what a bugger ;)
It totally depends if you're bothered about mileage or not. I saw some lower mileage ones that weren't as well looked after as this one. Mechanically it's absolutely spot on, so if you want one to drive then here it is. That's more important to me than mileage tbh
Not properly advertised it yet. Nobody on here or cliosport, well someone messaged me but never replied.
I'll get it on PH initially, then ebay after if it doesn't go
To be fair, it's exactly what happened to the V6s, got dragged up by other things that are 'special'. No way in the world is a 2nd hand V6 worth what they're asking for now, but the current climate means that's what they're being put up for (though not necessarily sold for).
Sorry, not put the advert up anywhere yet as not got a full set of pics. The weather has been awful up here so hope to give it a wash and get some done, then I'll put an advert up on Pistonheads
There's a few pics here of it http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=86610&p=3...

Mikey, it's only very occasional, and thinking about it was on some wet cobbles, and some smooth concrete as I pull a hairpin like turn onto the main rd near our house.
Still gonna have it checked over when I get chance, but not as worried (touch wood) as I was
Thanks for the replies. What I meant to put is that I seemed to remember my old one doing similar, pesky kids in class made me lose concentration... Priorities...
It drives wonderfully on a hoon, is really tight buzzin round roundabouts and the like, which makes me think it's not anything too...
Just noticed this recently, I've had to do a few full lock turns (or near full lock) and there's been a slight juddering. It come's through the steering wheel but feels suspension related.
Anyone got any ideas?
I can't remember from my previous T, but is this normal with the sachs?
Cheers
I'd be up for a Wales meet, or a Lakes, or Yokshire Dales.
For a Track Day could try jump on a Renaultsport one so you don't get silly fast things buzzing round you all day.
The only other thing I contemplated was Carfest. I took my V6 there and was a great weekend, but don't know if 7 red...
I'd do anywhere, but understand Goodwood is a bit of a trek. Silverstone for WSR would be the best I think, easy access from motorway and though not quite central I reckon it would be a perfect event to attend.
Parade laps with thousands of people watching, got to be great for the profile of...
