Anyone know the track width of a Trophy front and rear please? Or does anyone even know if the track is the same? TIA:up:

I did mine a few weeks back, easy enough to do. Once you remove the 10mm spacer make sure you fit a 2mm washer so that the rails do not drag on the carpet.

Bought from Renault last month for my Clio Trophy while my Sachs were being refurbed. Used for 1 tank of fuel tops, so as new! After £90 posted (Glasgow area for pick up) Will get some pics up tomorrow! Mike

I have new genuine Cup dampers for sale, used for all of 50 miles if that!! (with receipt) Had ordered new dampers and read it could take a while hence the Cup dampers but in the end I had mine refurbished.

Had the Trophy on track last night and there is a knocking noise from the rear under hard braking, worse when trail braking and lifting a inside wheel. Is it the exhaust hitting, engine mount? Cheers

Bit more detail... Removed the front Sachs suspension, and just tried to fit 182 Cup dampers with the Eibach springs and top mounts form the Sachs, but the pistons are 2" longer so now need to use spring clamps to fit them onto the car. Is this normal, can't be the first to fit Cup dampers on...

Are Clio 182 Cup damper pistons longer than Sachs pistons?

Just ordered some new Cup shocks for the front until the Sachs arrive! I take it they will be fine with new rear Sachs shocks? Cheers

That's my fear with refurbing the excisting Sachs, that the shafts need replaced...quite a difference in price! Think i am just going to order a set of Cup front dampers to tie me over tell the new Sachs come in!

Is there a way to tell if the front shocks are "scored"? Cheers.

New Sachs ordered all round with new top mounts, wishbones and TRE's! (anything else i should be ordering while i am refreshing the suspension?) 1 front damper is unavailable at the moment, anyone any idea how long that means? Mike

Yes i know there adjustable Stevo. But better in what way? Considering all the reviews of the Trophy were with Sachs shocks they can't be bad, not saying they can't be improved upon but just saying there better does not mean much IMO. Cheers Bearne, will keep an eye open! Mike
