I think it probably has to do with some gremlin in the alarm wiring.
A couple of years ago, mine started playing up, random beeps etc, the last straw was when it took to keeping the hazard warning lights going constantly, initially the only thing that cured that was taking the relevant fuse...
Evening Gents.. Well, in-between the April hail showers and tootling about in a van full of fresh flowers from the farm today, I passed some time rooting about in the 'boys room' and dug out another Trophy specific EVO to offer up For Sale here.
It's Issue No. 135 from October 2009 with the...
I believe Febi do a Type D coolant to Renault spec. Available from Opie Oils:

Definitely not a factory Cup car Nick.
For starters: Side trims in paint, the electric mirrors and no proper ignition key barrel give it away immediately as a normal 200 not a Cup.
Details of previous Welsh Weekender's can be found by having a look back through the 'Meets' section of the forum, including the excellent information pack produced by @SharkyUK in ( I think??) 2018 to accompany that years event if you dig around hard enough.
There was a brief discussion...
I haven't I'm afraid. When my dampers were swapped for the new set by Mick at Diamond, he was able to use my original bump stops and gaiters, but did note that they'd need doing 'next time around'. Thus I've invested in some new bumps and gaiters for the set of dampers I'm currently restoring in...
I've not had dealings with either of these in respect of my Trophy, but I've heard folk mention Birchdown Auto Services in Malpas, Cheshire, or there's BTT in Wigan who do Renaultsport work..
Worth noting that tuning guru's EFi Tuning are also more or less on the doorstep in Runcorn.
I...
Bumped into this delight on YouTube, some Clio 16v rally action from back in simpler times, when the world felt a lot less complicated. ( @Titan - you may enjoy this 😀 (y) )
Haha, indeed.
I've had the 'big' engine mount on back order with RPD since September last year, still no sign of the damn thing and can't use the car to it's full potential until I replace the existing one. I think I'm going to have to throw originality out of the window and fit one of the...
The closest thing we've found with regards to the splitter is the Ragnotti item (it has the correct part number on it) from ORECA in France if you're feeling brave with regards to the import duty lottery or alternatively Kam Racing stock them. Centre Caps were still available from RPD last time...
It's a difficult conundrum this, and not altogether easy to answer in a positive way. Maybe 15 years ago, when the majority of stuff was still available from Renault, some form of stockpiling could have occurred had you been minded to. But now, with the amount of stuff which is NLA and/or unique...
Just before dawn near Dunsop Bridge, morning mist hangs in the air, some gently steaming sheep look on as a little red car cuts a swathe through the landscape.
Wishing all a great Easter weekend.
Hi folks, well here we go, as I alluded to on my last EVO mag for sale, I'm offering up a copy of issue #87 for sale from the collection. It's the EVO Car of the Year issue from 2005 and as I photographed it earlier I gave myself a little moment to leaf through and a little reminder of the...
Well Francis, I believe one of these sold recently on eBay for £24.99 plus postage, but I wouldn't be charging or expecting that sort of money for it.. ;)
