Awesome, cheers. Aren't the sachs specific to the trophy only? I'm well versed in that department..! I'm looking for a 182 cup. Hopefully. Can't beat them for the money, running costs, speed, handling, looks. Kinda regret selling my trophy.
Hello everyone. It's been a while but this still is the best car enthusiast forum IMO. Good to be on here again and may well be back in a Clio subject to job situation. I'll be selling my 5.5 AMG merc as it's not very economical as you can imagine. So, my question is, in a nut shell, what are...
I'm after a clock spring for a 2003 megane. It's all one unit combined with the wiper and indicator stalks. They are about £140 I think and I'm struggling to find a good used one. I wouldn't mind paying the money but I'm selling the car so don't want to!!!
Hello strangers!
Well, from trophy to 2004 megane dci. Don't do it. They are turd.
Anyway, who is the user who works in Renault parts? I believe down south somewhere??
Cheers!
What the hell?!
I've only been out of Trophy ownership a few weeks and it's all gone downhill!
That post is a work of art... Go back to Max Power or Redline or whatever idiot scene you've come from. This is a respectable forum.
There are so many things I want to rip to shreds in that post...
Very nice! Love the wheels, a bit different but very functional.
If you don't mind me commenting on the RARB: you want to move to mounts on the beam axle as far apart as possible, the closer the mounting points are to the 90 degree bends the stiffer, and so more effective, the bar will be. :)
Wow, this is turning into one of those "I'm better than you, I know more than you", let's all talk shit to out do each other threads... And the English is appalling too..
So to bring it back to the original question:
I had a 72k service with Renault parts at Northwest Performance for £470...
Sorry. Keep up the good work!
Or
Soz keep up da gud werk cos i ent got me car no more i got a cheap desil now lol its well slow omg but im gonna put a truck turbo on it and it will be well quicker than my matez impreza lol
Just sold the Trophy to the first viewer.
So now a life of Megane 1.9 DCi awaits me. Oh joy. The Clio will be greatly missed but it will probably mean i'll use the ZX6r a bit more :D
No...
But literally half an hour later I got a call from a friend of a friend who came round to see it and within the hour had left a deposit. Sadly for me, when I bumped the post I reduced the price by £500. Damn my new "JFDI" new years resolution...
I sympathise with you, it's not a nice situation to be in.
So to clarify, has the cambelt actually snapped? Or has it thrown a pulley or snapped a camshaft or something?
I think the first problem is that you got the timing problem sorted without going back to the garage who made the mistake...
awesome, awesome car! I've looked around at getting one so many times but haven't taken the plunge yet. This one look ace.
As for wheels, stick with the what the car is, small and light and a definate race/rally feel; so how about:

or...
Clio 182 Trophy, 168/500

Interesting stuff.
I remember reading an article on the same subject a few years ago when I working in Merc dealers. Someone (as in a body or organisation) questioned the legality of HIDs at all, even from new, as one regulation of a E approved headlight is that it must fully illuminate...
Not concerned with handling in the context I have been referring to throughout, just safety, as that is more important in the current climate.
And surely it's common sense?? Race engineers and fellow mechanics I've chatted to on the subject agree that in the current climate, on a front wheel...
