My understanding is that it is a genuine Renault plate and part number. It is only fitted when a vehicle recall campaign is enacted by Renault dealerships following a Renault recall notification for mod/ upgrade. The cross in the K4 box on mine I believe confirms the replacement of the bonnet...

I had these plates replaced in Aug 2020 following a thread from Frayz who had the same done. The plate in question can be seen (albeit with VIN number hazed out) in my thread for 077 dated 13th Aug 2020. Contact details referred to in the text. Hope this helps.
