look further down both links you sent both the 172 and 172 cup were homologised for group n and group a.
the difference is the 172 was a homologised road car, the cup was built specifically for homologation, a 'special'
i think group n is more important here as group a allows for modifications...
Gordon, its a shame you cant edit your post as the 172 Cup was homologated for Group N, it is a 'special'.
As we have all said before a Trophy is not worth the sum of its parts.
Somone bought a refurbed pair of sachs for £700, you add up the rest and tell me how it works.
Dawn's cup is worth...
there are people hoping to get a top condition bargain and its getting tiresome reading the posts. it is unlikely there is one where the seller doesnt know what they are selling. by unlikely i mean 100 per cent not happening.
Thats interesting and true.
years ago i was heavily into mk3 fiestas, i converted an xr2i into full rs turbo spec in a weekend with bits i collected over a year and it was much cheaper than just buying a real one
but at the end of the day it was a replica.

all this bother just because it was knicked, and found undamaged and...
i did a search on knockers car and it was on over 35k when he sold it and this guy reckons this is on 33?

with trophy prices going silly and normal 182s being so cheap i wonder if its worth buying one to use as spares.. id love an old knackered spares car for my xr2...
you advertised yours in feb, one of the worst months for selling a normal car, never mind a toy, if youd stuck to your guns and stopped reducing it, you would have got more in march, when you sold it, or april / may, i think.
7k for a 91k car with refurbed dampers and recent belts seems...
Jason, ive read a few of your posts, the plain truth is, they are selling so they are worth it.
Yes, i get it, are they really worth the sum of their parts? probably not
is a 911r really good value for £800k? probably not.
did you miss the boat on cheap low mileage trophys? yes, so did i and...
