Hi Cue Kam and all
No 382 sold to Kam and driven away yesterday. Very sad day and will miss the trophy which has been the best car i've had the pleasure of owning. Enjoy it Kam;I have taken good care of it. I will now be getting my petrol head kicks out of a z4 3.0 si . In this weather it is...
Sad sad day! I am relutantly selling this amazing hot hatch due arrival of company car. This really is the best car I have ever owned and I'll be very sad to see it go.
Pictures on Piston Heads, http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/707075.htm. I'll upload them on here later.
Great...
Even with only half a straight my trophy was hitting 120mph b4 i slowed to end the lap at the 130km per hour sign. The lambo must me able to get somwhere close to it's top speed on the same stretch. I maybe wrong
The most entertaining car I watched at the adenau bridge with a beer late on...
Simpson, I was the other trophy owner at the Ring this weekend. It was my first time out there. I did try to find you for a chat but you were not near your car. I think you past me. I was taking it very easy all weekend. You were on 3 wheels when you went past. Very impressive! Or perhaps...
Cue what is the Aux belt?
My reason for asking is that i am approaching the 36k miles and had the cam belt changed at 28k by Renault when they fixed a rocker cover oil leak. The Renault paperwork states they had to order and fit a cam belt kit. If that kit includes the aux belt, then there...
Have to say i am now tempted to get mine into the dealer. I have little pools of oil building up same as the earlier picks on this thread. Not using any oil but still a little concerning. Is this happening to us at the similar milages? Mines just clicked past 27000 miles
Thanks Cue and Ollie, I'll get the fluid upgraded before the next track session. To save me searching again can you tell me which fluid should i be asking for?
Dave
The prices are on the GDI web site and i thnk they are still offering 10% off the pagid pads currently but don't quote me on that. You can find price details here on all their brake solutions:

There are other brembo disks...
Havn't posted for a while but after searching the many posts on here and cs about brake upgrades, I plumped for the pagid blue rs 4.2 pads and new brembo high carbon disks.
I had them fitted at GDI last saturday (Thanks Andy & Mark) Their service and attention to detail was excellent. I...

This link below is useful for seeing how we are all being affected as a result of todays budget. Trophy car tax up by £15 a year to £210.

Was that the novice day at bedford when they had us all in the carpark going out through that small slip road. I saw that gt2 and a few (trophy) there.
I think it was, however i dont remember any other trophy's on the day. there were other RS Clios as i remember
Of the cars i've driven or owned, my list is as follows. I was a company car driver for many years and during this time i ran around in rep mobiles and dont feature on my list below.

i have never seen a Renaultsport that filthy
First time i have been spotted; i dont think there are many Clio Trophys in the area
Off to Les Arcs on the 13th Jan and havn't been Skiing for 13 years. Much older now so likely to fall harder. Went to the MK ski slope for a lesson last week and it seemed to come back to me. hope there's some decent Snowfall in the Alps before mid Jan
Mine is in on Friday for this, needs a new seat runner. This will be it's 4th visit to attempt to solve this problem (seat not sliding back when you lift the seat back)
No thanls, TROPHY is the best that I have HAD delivered to date in terms of perforamnce and handling, i am waiting for its nemisis; whatever that maybe but i dont think the new shape clio will be the relpacement in any shape of form; RS TWINGO VXR CORSA OR MEGANE 230 , WHO...
I always keep a bottle of red in one of the side pockets in the rear. Probably not ideal if the worst happens, and not as useful as a fire extinguisher, but handy! :)
It just gets better and better...3 bottles of wine and still being able to drive quickly around the corners. Thanks for the tip.
People, I don't post very often however i felt this must be shared.
Just been out on a fast blast on the long twisty route for a bottle of red to round the week off.
The passenger seat recaro, when you extend the base seat extension thingy, holds an unopened wine bottle perfectly...
Great day Steve, Took me 4.5 hours to get back to suffolk, 2.5 hours between the copse tunnel and the M1! I should have stayed for the parade. Heard you lot going over the top of me as i was queud up through the tunnel!
How many laps did the parade allow?
Hyb, Silverstone full F1 circuit (3.2 miles) last Sunday at trax, think this was the brooklands corner/complex just before you swing around onto the pit start / finish straight.
I found it a daunting track especially when you have only 20mins to get used to it.
