Damn, has that fee gone up a lot recently Nick? Seems like a pretty chunky minimum fee,especially if as you say, the car your selling is relatively low value, between £10-15k say.

You can tell how special it was by Harrys reaction as he drove along. He is obviously pretty used to rolling in those upper echelons and has driven any number of unobtanium cars over the years. So to see his reactions really tells you how much of an event it was, even for someone like him...

I'm guessing the owner might have gotten £25/26k when selling it to 4 Star Classics? Whatever it was, its a fairly big kicking to take alright Nick. Not surprisingly after that sort of spend, it looks absolutely immaculate though.

@NickReilly063 and @marrow 100% agree. After watching the video walk around, they say the previous owner wanted to create his own version of the Euro/French only Griffe model. Which didn't have the red strip. It would be a simple thing to add, and finish it off nicely I think 👍

This looks like another cracking 205, in what I think is its best colour - Sorrento green. (Amazing how dark it can come across on camera though, when its inside) The owner clearly put a serious amount of effort into getting it to this very high standard...

Sounds like a pretty nice way to round out the year. After the WW, do a week on some of those legendary European roads,especially those once used by Evo. Be a nice way to conclude the year that is the Trophy's 20th birthday... maybe 😉

I think that's always going to happen Nick, unfortunately I had to sell it at that time, I had just gotten the 205 around then in 2017. I'm sure whoever has it now, is looking after it well anyway ;)

Thanks Ed, the fella that had it before me, put a lot of time and money in to it. I loved the colour of it, Helios Blue, really popped in the sunlight. Hopefully someone on your neck of the woods still has it and is enjoying it. I actually just checked and it looks like its only been driven...

I think the Mk1 Gti will always get peoples attention. I was lucky enough to own this Campaign (for a few years anyway). The fella that bought it from me took it back to the UK and he sold it on CC about two years later, easily doubling his money!!
