Thanks for that, going to pop to mark fish today. It needs to cv gators, (apparently £49 each which shocked me), or a complete shaft with both cv's (inner and outer) and gators for £132 each side - same labor either way. So going to have a chat with him, so might invest in the springs too.

I have often thought that replacing the shocks/seats/wheels with standard stuff would leave a very cheap (but boring) 182

Anyone have any idea how much rear Trophy springs are from Renault? And if there are any recommended aftermarket replacements.

Turns out they're ph1 172 so don't match the recaros colour. So will be going as a full set, front and rear seats with door cards. £80

The sad thing is, it's cost a lot of money to look like that. But he's got the standard parts so good luck to him, everyone's taste is different. At least he didn't bin all the original bits, so it can still easily be saved!

Mine does have a Miltek fitted at the moment, i'm a bit 50/50 so I might not bother and save myself the money. Just thought it would be an ideal chance to make my own mark on the car, but don't want to ruin it. I'm thinking i'd be happier with £70 worth of fuel and a long drive ;)

Also, aside from Renault, does anybody supply the fitting kits? (ie k-tec etc) Our local dealer has closed down, so mail order would be a lot easier.
