Don't bother with ATP bodies, my mate had some on his clio and ditched them, they didn't make very good power. The jenveys we swapped them to gave 30+bhp more on the same rollers, same spec otherwise bar mapping... And please don't respray the trophy white! Or if you do, get some black trophy...

Haha you were stuck behind some moron driving quite slow, looking impatient, i was right behind you in the C2, bored also :lol: I ran a 200bhp/800kg saxo even when i had my trophy, extremely capable car. I would still chose the trophy every day which is why i sold it. Too noisy, too uncomfy...

Cornering speed is not relative to point a-b speed. Slow in fast out. Smooth. Although i found sometimes the trophy responded better to being chucked in with some vigour on the sharper corners.

I've "downgraded" to a 106 GTi. With proper decent suspension on it now, 4 pots, turinis and R888s it is very good. Insane grip, very good handling too. The fully independant rear suspension beats the hell out of the semi independant torsion beam on the clio too on back roads, the rear wheels...

The boot's made of plastic though isn't it? In that case it would only really crack i'd have thought.

I get beatport track packs from one of my mates :shock: The amount i've spent in the past on records is insane, these days i can't be arsed to drive/get train up to london just to buy some up to date records, i try and buy as much as possible on beatport but it's not always possible.

It makes far too little power really to be proper fun, although in some ways it helps the handling. The chargers aren't great although people make them out to be worse than they are. The oil pressure buzzer would come on and obviously the engine would suffer under hard corner, that's on road...

One of my best friends James owned a 'rado G60 for a while, absolutely superb handling, crap engine...

There are a good few companies around that will retrim the wheel in real leather or alcantara. Remember suede and alcantara wear really quickly, leather is a good bet, perforated is best :D Then maybe get the grips done in suede/alcantara?! Will cost less than a new one and outlast it by a good...

The column has a bit of play in the lower UJ which is annoying me, and as the buyer is a good mate of mine i got roped into changing it for him! Yep the steering wheel is melted a tiny bit by the right thumb grip, i would have got the wheel trimmed while it's off if i was keeping it but alas...

Now the whole steering column is off, damn french cars! Thankfully i have a much lower mileage mint column here that i shall be fitting shortly when i regain momentum :twisted: 427 goes on wednesday :( :cry: :cry: :cry:

Someone used to advertise a pss9 kit for the trophy with specially valved dampers for the several rates of springs available. Looked like a nice bit of kit. When i get an M3 i'll get PSS9s!

It's not a problem unless you've had them dynamically balanced, which is extremely rare these days.

A UDM/G220 is a dual action/random orbital buffer. A makita rotary is obviously a rotary. Hope that clears it up?!
