Been lucky enough to own all 3, and tbh it comes down to personal preference.
I'd be pretty sure that the Trophy would be fastest A-B, but I found it a bit too refined. If the Puma had a bit more power, then it would waltz over both the Teg & Trophy. Levels of grip and braking from the car...
They must be running low on ideas, Evo did exactly the same with the Puma, Teg and Clio a month or so ago
To be fair, they all represent exceptional value and are all brilliant in there own way!
I know! :(
I've taken over 1k off it from my original price and still no serious interest. All I need is for someone to just come and look at it. I'm pretty damn sure they'd take it away!
2005 / 05 Clio Trophy
I have decided to put my Trophy up for sale. I am the second owner of the car, and have owned it for around 7 months in which time the car has been entirely trouble free. The car has all the usual Trophy specifications and has no after market modifications, its completely...
I think as it stands now, the difference in price between tidy 182s vs 182 trophy is about 2k. This is what its always been - or around that margain. Unfortunalty now Cup's seem to be getting very cheap, as do some 172s which makes the Trophy look quite high in comparison. Had a go in 2 172...
Mine always sounds raspy but only from initial start up, disappears after about 1 minuite of driving. About the whistle, I get that too. Many comments about having a turbo from passengers  Only get the sound at full throttle though
Re: F/S Clio Trophy 19,900miles. Standard £8800
Now reduced to £8600 ono
Can one of the mods' please change the title as I can't seem to edit the first post?
2005 / 05 Clio Trophy
I have decided to put my Trophy up for sale. I am the second owner of the car, and have owned it for around 6 months in which time the car has been entirely trouble free. The car has all the usual Trophy specifications and has no after market modifications, its completely...
I drove a race prep'd one at a driving experice thing last weekend. Oh my god, the feedback through the wheel was out of this world. So so so responsive, and the brakes were fantastic. Gearbox felt good aswell. Drove an atom the same day, although the Atom was stupid quick, the Caterham was so...
For a 8yr old car, thats pretty good going imo. They seem to have stabilised at around 6-7k at the moment. The only ones that were 4k have been cat C or cat D. Saying that the ones going for 6/7k arn't top notch condition. I reckon a minter could still get around 9k
All true, but that stretch of road is bloody awful quality. Last time I went down there the Sat Nav feel off from its holding, followed by the holding falling off the windscreen aswell! Awful piece of tarmac!
