That was me on the scenic route over to Hatfield - nice to see another Trophy on the road - lovely looking car :D Makes a nice change to see something different for a change!
Get mine in all the time - not exactly easy though! Driver and Woods come out, bag goes in diagonally and the driver/ woods go in on top, by wedging hte handle end into the 'speaker' housing, then putting the club head in the small space behind the suspension and laying it on top of the bag -...
I had my tracking checked when my front tyres were replaced two weeks ago - the toe and camber were all over the place and not the same on both sides front or back.
I admit, these guys are not specialists  but they did have all of the laser alignment gear and showed me the read out on...
21,500 for me! sounds alot, but I honestly don't care - they have all been great :D
As with yours Oliie, they are mostly motorway miles (which seems a bit of a waste) and still going strong!
The cruise control is very convenient and easy to use, but on a couple of occasions i have...
funny - i'm having a similar dilemma at the moment..... I reckon that the only real difference will be how long they last, with the Yokos going down faster. It seems silly to change from the tyres that michelin developed for the 182 (but not trophy), but having only ever used Exaltos I cant...
That was me again - didn't see you this time! Boxters are always fair game, they dont realise that their cars are not that much faster (until about 80mph) :)
car looks spanking - obviously a good camera!
Can't help but notice that you dont clean inside the wheelarches (if only there was a wagging finger icon to put in here) :)
That was me sneaking away from work early! I reckon it was a double 'rabbit in headlights' when we drove past eachother :)
I work in Aylesbury and live near Watford - You're only the second trophy I've seen - first might have been duffer because it was in Watford on the day I picked mine up
I know pretty much all of the Trophy's have the seat rattling problem, but I resigned myself to living with it as it didn't seem like Renault could do anything about it - Did the replacement clamp stop the seat from rattling?
There is no question that you will be amused by a Trophy, they are hilarious to drive :)
I had a Clio 182 with a cup pack before I bought a Trophy, and I found that they are very different. The suspension is harder, but really changes the handling for the better (not taken the Trophy on...
Have used 99 RON from Tesco for the last two tanks - before that it was only Optimax. I can't say that I have noticed a difference, if I did I would probably be making it up! As you said earlier it seems to make sense to use the cheaper, higher RON fuel (even if it may not be as pure?!) Done...
We have to remeber that Renault put all of the development into the engineering underneath (having neglected the driving position) - I personally don't care that the rest of it is made out of paper mache and masking tape, because driving it is such a hoot!! :D If it is seriously annoying you...
I really miss the Xenons, had a 182 before I got the Trophy. The beam is quite good, but xenons are much better. You would be able to buy the units from Renault, but they are likely to cost a fortune and probably add quite a few kilos as well.
Maybe better to try out some aftermarket...
