What i don't understand is why the trophy with its sachs dampers doesnt generate as much g in the corners as a run of the mill fiesta, not even an RS at that. There has to be some mistake somewhere.

The trophy beat the fiesta thats a given. But my mate said when he was reading the mag in smiths the fiesta generated higher cornering g and only lost out in the lap time because of the greater weight and less power.

I remeber i once went to collect a renault with 60 delivery miles on. I rejected it and asked them to order me another.

I still havent got a copy of this mag. Is it true the results show fiesta st corners quicker than the trophy?
