Trophy 168/500 £7895 - Updated price, check thread
OK guys, time to sell.
If anyone on here offers me £7500 over the bank holiday weekend, it's yours to drive away. If you factor in the spare alloy, private plate, and the fact that I've just filled her up with V-Power then you're...
Not sold yet, I was away over the weekend which meant I missed some calls :-(
I've put it on pistonheads now too:

Thanks guys, I agree the price is low, and I'm definitely taking a hit, but I want to find a buyer quite quickly.
If I could, I would keep her for life, I can't think of any other car that returns so much fun for the money.
Whoops on the title, not sure how to correct that...
I should have thought of putting the original plate on sooner, maybe whoever buys the car will sell it to you...
I've updated the pics to show the full plate, not sure why I thought I should censor it to start with.
*** NOW SOLD ***
Just put her on Autotrader.
Need to sell as I've been offered a job overseas. I will miss her dearly though. I still haven't got over the way this car connects me to the road.
£7895 - must be one of the best priced around
Now on 46500 miles, but with a Full...
Sorry for the OT, but does that just happen when you corner quickly, or do you need to be slowing down too? Either way, how does the back end not end up in the next lane?
I think all you need is a new set of discs (brembo HC), some decent pads (ds2500 or pagid), and a little consideration - try and let them cool a little before you park the car, and certainly don't sit still with your foot on the brake pedal when they're smoking hot.
Talk to yozzasport...
Hi guys, it's unlikely I'll be able to make it this Sunday, as I'll be in Doncaster and probably not back in time. Don't let the rain put you off though, this time of year, you just have to get out and see what it's like when you get there. And if it is wet, well, just means you'll be...
Another thumbs up for brembo HC + ds2500's and fluid from yozza. Haven't tried them on track, but seem to work very well on the road, bar some minor squealing at low speeds. I would say that the ds2500's do work well from cold, but that they work even better when warm.
If it's for road use...
Just to add to the options, according to google maps, the 'evo triangle' is just 1hr 9 min from the TC:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en ... 2&z=9&om=1
;-)
That doesn't take into account how far people have already travelled to get to TC though.
27th Jan works for me. TC is very convenient for me as well, but I'd suggest if we want a good day of driving, we meet up early on the edge of Chester and head into North Wales.
There are just too many other cars in the north west for any roads to be fun on a Sunday.
Also, I'd suggest we...
Well once the top of the dash is off you can remove the speedo quite easily. I can't think of a way you could do it without taking the dash top off. I'm not an expert though.
I've fitted some components with crossovers.
If your components have a separate crossover you need to use it, otherwise they'll sound crap, and you'll probably blow the tweeter.
If you want a direct replacement, then these should work nicely: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ...
Does anyone know where I might find a resonably cheap wheel that would take the standard size tyres?
I'm about to buy two new tyres, and would like to keep 1 of my old ones as a spare. I found the turini's at k-tech, but ~£160 with delivery seems a bit much to pay for a spare wheel. I...
Sounds like you have auto tuning enabled, and it's getting confused. It's designed to re-tune to a stronger signal for the same station, but sometimes switches between stations. You can turn this off - I did when it kept switching between welsh and english radio1 for me, but I can't remember the...
Aye, my first impressions were that it didn't feel that quick in the lower revs. I think this is partly because the fly-by-wire throttle is not very responsive at lower revs. The engine at those revs is very quiet and smooth, and the gearing is reasonably long. It's 3k to start moving, and 5k...

We’re really sorry but we are unable to help you with your car insurance at this time.
Why not contact COMPAREtheMARKET.com, a trading name of BISL Limited who are an independent insurance intermediary
I guess it must come down to post code. For some reason, certain...
I'd love an mx-5, an s2000, an rx-8, or an M3 CS / CSL especially the latter as it could still meet the requirements of a single car household.
But, all of these are more expensive options, and that extra cash could be put towards karting, or tracking the clio, which are both more fun (imo)...
Did you try the link I posted above? Doesn't show the whole country at once, but does give you a map with all the service stations in a given area.
If you then put the post code of a service station into petrolprices.com, you can work out where you should fill up on the way home :-)
