I'm looking to sell my trophy next week as soon as my sachs are back from BG motorsport after their rebuild. I'm wondering what sensible price i can ask for the car, details below:

92800 miles,
1 previous owner,
brand new refurbished sachs (i've been runing the car on 182 cup shocks for the past 2 years while i got around to sending the sachs off for rebuild)
scorpion RS192 exhaust professionally fitted 3 years ago,
MOT in Feburary,
very good tyres all round (2 new on the front with less than 300 miles on them)
no issues/problems with the car and i've addressed all previous faults.

Generally quite a tidy car as I only do about 3k miles a year because I have a company car and a motorbike.

I've been keeping a spreadsheet showing details, costs of items and work done on the car. happy to send this accross to anyone who wants to see.

I was hoping to get between £6995 - £7500. but please let me know your thoughts on the price.

Based in Cardiff.
Thanks, Rhys.

Hi Rhys I look forward to seeing the full advert, as I am looking and there are a number of cars now on the market, or coming to the market.

Mileages range from 54K to 133k and prices from £5K to £10K so not an easy pricing option.

Some have full history with book packs and invoices, whilst others have considerably less with them.

Some have new shocks and others require bodywork and shock work. Making sense of this is a challenge and ultimately for me it will be on condition, history and 'buying the buyer' that will decide it. Don't know how others work, but as much detail as you have on the history will be important ..... this forum is great for that with some cars and the history being represented in the Owners Section.

Your car sounds and looks a nice one and priced in line with the above will certainly get it looked at I am sure.

Good luck with the sale and do let me know when it is fully readied and available.

Rhys have you replaced the rear discs and sorted the wheel bearing advisories from the last MOT ?
The wheel bearing will be replaced next week when the Sachs are getting fitted. I will also look into the streering gaiter.
The MOT tester told me that the brake discs are slightly corroded because it spends alot of time sitting on the drive and that the handbrake causes this. he suggested that skimming the disks may be an option rather than replacing them completely. I'll also look into this before the sale.
