Re dampers. I'm sure I've seen cit-ren on eBay breaking Trophys for spares now and again. They may have some dampers, if not now, in the near future. If a T has been rear ended the front dampers may be fine.
Oh dear. The main selling point of the T is the front Sachs dampers. This is the first thing a prospective owner should check. Followed by cambelt kit changed or not. I'm surprised someone in your line of work missed the 2 most important things!

Since my posts about this car has passed MOT test with no advisories! So not yet. But due to cost of new dampers & life span/no guarantee of re-furb, it will happen.

Many people will not realise the T isnt my daily driver. I have another car. So if i have to cart family or friends around, or the roads/weather are crap i use my daily driver. Hence only 5k miles in two years. Which is why im more than slightly annoyed about it all.
