Thanks guys for your responses so far, as its the sound I'm after - it's clear a simple filter change wont provide that. I was hoping that there might be a happy medium, 90% of the sound and performance of the £390 Maxogen for 50% of the price? :) Call me a dreamer..... The K&N Gen II kits...

Cue - whats the benefit of the Espace V6 airbox? Didn't see that suggestion coming, I must admit :) Also - looking through the forum for the removal of the acoustic valve - did anyone ever do a HOW TO with pics? Did you simply remove and block the pipe, or completely "have it out"?
