I’m not mad about selling it but we are now up to 8 cars at home and only really use 2.

As a few of you know I have 3 Clios. The Trophy, an Alien 200 and the RB Cup so it’s a bit of a last in first out.

The Cup is a beautiful car. Almost perfect paint, when I bought it the bonnet had the classic front edge rust so I replaced it with a Renault bonnet and painted. I fitted a genuine front splitter. I’ve also fitted blue Trendlines, a new snappy wheel, new battery, alternator and new mintex front pads and discs. The car sits in my garage with over £5k in it.

I’ve detailed the engine bay with vapour blasted alloy components.

It’s had the belts service done and will have 12 months MOT. The car has just tripped 70k miles

I would encourage anyone looking for one of these to look at others then view mine. All my cars are excellent examples, I wouldn’t settle for anything less.

I’m looking at £4750 for the car which compared to your run of the mill £3k 182 may seem expensive but mine does need to be seen to be appreciated

I’ve not put a lot of detail as I’m not sure this is the forum to sell it, I’m open to questions but not silly offers. I’ve got the original seats and wheel so can reduce the price based on seat/wheel choice

If it sells for what I’m asking all well and good if not I will keep it under the cover

Hard to hit the like button when your loosing such a beauty..
car looks stunning.

Thanks Chris. Without blowing my own trumpet anyone looking for one would struggle to find a better one. Maybe north of £4K people may think it expensive but it’s a car someone could buy knowing there is nothing left to spend on it. Bearing in mind there is £1k in the seats, steering wheel and splitter alone. Prob £300 in the plate. Unless someone wants a project mine suddenly becomes a cheap car.

Ah right, I wasn't sure you could vapour blast parts with an electrical component, but that's for another thread.

Warrington...leaving the club
I defo think the 182 non trophy market is at a turning point where the majority are cheap and unfrotunately have now got in the hands of those who cant really afford them. So the quality will start to shine thru but with a prices quite rightly to match. I think enthusiats will realise there is a reason some cars are over double evreything else out there while chancers will just tell sellers I can get one of these for "£1500".

A bit like mossy's one . Had i not gone trophy again.. Rb cup would have been my second choice.

I have personally seen this car and it is just as described and clean as a whistle.
Superb car. The buyer will not be disappointed.
Good luck with the sale Tony.

If I weren't currently in the middle of a house purchase I would snap it up myself. Lovely example. Good luck with the sale and I hope it goes to a deserving home!

Wondered how you’d got on Mark, I guessed it was either ok or you were standing on the hard shoulder waiting for the RAC ? The car has nothing to hide, good to deal with you, look after it or sell it to a loving owner. I’ve put a lot of time and money into it, it would be nice if it was appreciated.

Lovely job with the vapour blasting, any pointers where to find info on that? I don't see anything on the forum.

I had both of the cars done by a lad local to me in Doncaster. He does a really good job. I guess anyone with the equipment could sort it for you.
