Hi Guys
Thinking of buying my first trophy, was wondering if you thought this was a good deal.
It's currently on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Rena...477477?hash=item284000ab25:g:sHQAAOSwHpdZwD-0

After speaking to the garage, everything appears to be in order, the paint on the door handle has faded and the steering wheel has some melting on it.

Appreciate any tips or info you may have before i purchase

Thanks

On the face of it, looks a good car. I'd normally say it looks a fair price but a few have been for sale recently very cheap (presume they have sold as they were priced to sell quickly).
If it's local to you then best thing to do is go and see it and get your eye in. Door handle and steering wheel are common and cheap to sort.

Have you looked on here for its history? That's the great thing about numbered cars.

Thanks, I couldn't find much on here unless I'm not looking in the right places, it's had 4 owners which is why I think it's priced slightly higher than others. I have seen cheaper but they have 6+ owners

Why it keeps getting stuck when it comes to selling and whether I should go for it or wait

Ok thanks. The best price he can do is £5880. Struggling to find something similar cheaper

Sounds pricey I've just sold mine (well taken a deposit) with a few less miles and without many of that cars issues for less than 6.

You priced yours to sell quick though which has clearly worked so fair play but I really don't think circa £7k is too bad for a very tidy car sub 100k.

I suppose I always think traders are going to be more expensive than a private sale. I seem to remember there was a fantastic lowish owner/miles car on here that went for sub 7 and that really was a bargain. They do come up if you wait around, well hopefully. :)

Jesus cant anyone tell this guy the front end is 50 shades of red.
Plus if you look at the service book its just written cambelt done which means it will be patent parts, aux belt only & no dephaser pulley.

That there is £5k trophy.
